ok well about a 2 weeks ago my 98 rodeo just died out on me for no particular reason at all.so i checked coil pack...no spark at all..spent 250 buck on brand new coil pack..still not starting and still no spark.replaced all wires and plugs still not starting it will turn over but it just will not start for shi* then i called a good friend of mine whom is a mechanic and runs his own shop, hes said its goptta be the ckp (crankshaft pos. sensor) so i ordered one yesterday 120 bucks just went to pick it up and then came home to replace it....still not starting it cant be a fuel problem well at least i dont think because i can hear the fuel pump turn on when i turn on the key i can not figure out this problem for the life of me and i dont wanna get rid of her i love her to damn much IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN GIVE ME SOME ADVICE PLEASE!?!?!? any other pointers will be greatly appreciated

I would have started with the timing belt. Remove the plastic covers and see if it broke.

I dont understand that part. '98 is coil on plug. Each plug has its own coil and no plug wires.

Just for the heck of it, check the connector behind the distributor and make sure it's good and tight. I had that come loose once and mine just died, no spark at all.
