My 1st trip to URE without a ZU. Took the Camper and the boat. I haven't had much chance to use it since I sunk it and had it fixed. Lot's of work done on the boat so I needed to get it on open water and ring it out a bit. That was my Priority for this trip. The boat ran fine.

Camp is set up!

Wednesday evening we got to watch both the moon rise and sunset on the water at the same time.

Fishing wasn't great. But did catch a fish for the 1st time with Mario in the boat!

Range trip was good and spent some quality time BSing with the fine Isuzu folks.

I didn't wheel the camper.

Hopefully I'll have the Spacecab at URE in the spring.

Had a quick get away on Saturday so my son and I rolled down from Roanoke so hang out for Saturday and Sunday. Great to see old friends and meet new ones along the way.

Didn't quite make it!

Clutch hydro line let go. Might have gotten frayed during the engine replacement and was also a little too close to the exhaust manifold. Probably could have slammed it into gear in 4low and drove it on the shoulder home, but I've been paying for AAA forever so I figured I'd use it.

Looks like I missed a great time!

Now regardless of what everyone says, I didn't try to Kill Joe D or Wayne.
It just happens that way sometimes.
Yes there is another campfire story there to be told. Another day...

Anyhow, posted all my pics here and on the FB Isuzu Trader group.
I'll add a few here as well.

Yall aught to see Marty's camping tow rig.
a F550 from a power company turned into a sleeper hauler. Nice!
Doggon thing is as long as a limousine.

I was super impressed by the work done to Earl's (timberwolf) Amigo.
4.3, 700r4, dana 300, high pinion tube swapped 44, rear 44 dayum!

So we finally get going and Nic, Joe and I head up Daniel.
Man that was fun!

I'll need to get my videos on youtube soon. Having a helluva time since they removed the online editor!
That ledge is getting gnarly every year.

Joe after I just about ran him over:

The three way is still fun as hell.

THe view at the top as usual is amazing.

And on the way back down..

Took the group back around to poser rock and then onto Dutch John.

Finally some food, cobbler and fire.
Long day.

I don't think the jinx was broken with that little fish. :p
Hey, that was the bigger of the two he caught! Regardless of their size, catching 2 fish was still better than not catching anything. So the jinx is broken.

I've caught some nice fish out of Baden lake. Usually in the spring but never with Mario in the boat. He has a rep! Lot's of others fishing on the water and we didn't see any of them doing any better.

Nice target Mario, great pictures and videos, sorry I had to leave on Saturday, I miss Joes dogs, but not necessarily Joe... ...and I agree that two fish of that size break the curse. About time to get the dates together for the spring run don't you think?
