Isuzu's in Silverton - Ouray - Telluride

Postby SAS » Fri Sep 01, 2017 10:17 am

Last weekend I ventured out to Silverton where I got to meet a few Isuzuists who were concluding their week in the San Juan Mountains. I had previously met Dave T. in 2012 when I was passing through his Wyoming town on the way to Yellowstone NP. But this was the first time I had met Christine and Kevin, who live much closer to me. Due to close proximity (plus, their VXs are simply badass), I hope to be running with this couple more often!

We ran Black Bear Pass on Friday morning, and then took Bolam Pass for the return trip to Silverton.

The Isuzu's ended their week and went home on Saturday, I remained with my Toyota friends a few more days and ran many more trails.

Looks like a great time! I’m in Breckenridge, and I’m going to try and hit some of the trails in that area in late April or early May if anyone is down to join. Also, if anyone has a garage and jack stands in the area they could lend to me for a few hours, I’m trying to add a BL and some extra cranks on the T bars and it’s quite difficult working in parking lots! Cheers!
