New member son is building a 2000 Trooper

We got my son a 2000 Trooper that needs some tranny work, but otherwise is in amazing shape with ~130k miles on it.

I've owned and build several Toyotas over the years. Land Cruisers, mini trucks and 4runners. This will be our first Isuzu.

For now we are gonna lift ~3" to fit 33s. He has the factory LSD. We r gonna build armor (front winch bumper, rear bumper, and sliders) at home, and start amassing parts for a SAS.

For the SAS, the axles will depend on what becomes available. I'd love to get Toyota axles, but they can be relatively very expensive. Gears and lockers will be installed to accommodate 35s.

It should be a fun build and a great way for him to learn the Ins & outs of vehicle work and caveman fabrication. :pirate:
