Post this over on IsuzuPup.com. They're more familiar with the earlier Isuzu's over there.

You created two, but never replied to the activation emails.

Check your spam folder.

It's a simple swap, but will require a different slip yoke. I bought one from a member here, just to keep it from going to the scrapyard, so it would be available for someone who wants to do the exact swap you're doing. My plan was (and is) to sell it for exactly what it cost me, plus shipping. I'll have to search here to find what I paid for it.

I see. Yahoo is the worst I've seen. But Gmail is pretty reliable. I'll look at my mail logs and see if the problem is on my end. Since I just moved to a new web server, that is possible. Not likely, since other new users have been getting emails. But still possible.

Once I get on a real computer (I'm on my phone now), I'll post details on that transmission upgrade.

Yes, I saw that, and the yahoo one. You may want to edit your post, for privacy reasons.

Here are the logs from my mail server:
Apr 30 16:46:58 vm2 postfix/smtp[849233]: 34E784000B0: to=<[email protected]>, relay=gmail-smtp-in.l.google.com[142.250.138.26]:25, delay=0.76, delays=0.14/0.04/0.3/0.29, dsn=2.0.0, status=sent (250 2.0.0 OK 1619801218 v28si1722863vsi.46 - gsmtp)
Apr 30 16:49:39 vm2 postfix/smtp[849335]: 4FDE04000B0: to=<[email protected]>, relay=mta7.am0.yahoodns.net[67.195.204.72]:25, delay=0.76, delays=0.05/0.05/0.62/0.04, dsn=4.7.0, status=deferred (host mta7.am0.yahoodns.net[67.195.204.72] said: 421 4.7.0 [TSS04] Messages from 66.128.54.22 temporarily deferred due to unexpected volume or user complaints - 4.16.55.1; see https://postmaster.verizonmedia.com/error-codes (in reply to MAIL FROM command))

So Gmail accepted the email -- that's what "250 2.0.0 OK" means.

Yahoo, on the other hand, "deferred" it (20 times, so far). This one will eventually "give up" and never reach you. Yahoo's approach to stopping spam is like using a shotgun, blindfolded.

So according to the logs, Gmail received what the website sent you. What Gmail did with it is a mystery, at this point.

It's important that you're able to receive messages. Do you know how to create a mail filter in Gmail, to prevent it from going to "Spam"?

I'll go ahead and activate the account that has the Gmail address, once I hear back from you.

Meanwhile, I'll do some more testing on my end. I wasn't having this issue, even with Yahoo mail, until I switched to a new web server.

Meanwhile, I have a few questions:
What vehicle was the 5-speed from? (gas, or diesel?)
Is there a driveline shop in your area?
What's your comfort level with this sort of work?
