Hi !! i have a first gen 1985 Trooper. The owners manual says it's factory fitted with a 225x75 R 15. I cant seem to find this size where I stay. What alternative size do you install so that the side walls do not go beyon the wheel arch and do not add or subtract much to the height? I am going for stock specs as much as possible. My troop is the kind with out the side skirts that the 87's up models have.
Thanks in advance
Les
I do not know where you live, the 225/75/15 is a very common tire size, if you cannot find it where you live, you can go with 235/70/15
This tire will work with your trooper it is only a few centimeters taller and a few centimeters wider, this tire will fit nicely inside the wheel well of your trooper. If you are looking for good prices, checkout the link below or go to simpletire.com as well
Thanks JJ. And yes I found the factory tires size. Stupid of me not to find it. You have a good one !!
