A little more info would be helpful. What vehicle do you have, and what exactly are you trying to determine?

To start with: does it have power windows? Plush seat upholstery? or tweed? One piece back to the rear seat? Two tone paint? Chrome anywhere (bumpers, trim?) Wouldn't hurt to post the VIN # or pictures. Dennis

It doesn't have much! No chrome. Tweed seats. No power options. I didn't get anywhere decoding the vin. I didn't wanna pay for it. JACCH58EXM7909202

Tweed seats usually indicate an "S" model which is really just the base model. The LS models have lots of chrome, grey carpet, grey seats with folding armrest, may have cruise control, and power windows. You probably have crank-style windows as well.

Take a look at the option plate that's riveted to the pssgr-side firewall. Here's a decoder for those option codes:

https://forum.planetisuzoo.com/viewtopic.php?p=187427

Ignore the link in the 1st post; the website is NLA. Scroll down for another post listing the codes.

They are all 3-digit codes; for example, "RBA" indicates an "S" model but I can't recall if that's for a Trooper. Codes for all models show up in the list.

So just look for an "RB_" on the firewall plate, and whatever that 3rd digit is, will tell you the trim level.

There will be other option codes on the plate. Let us know what you find there, or just post a pic of the plate for all to see!
