Let me look at taking them off mine and I'll let you know. Had trouble getting to a bolt but really didn't try hard. If I can get them off I'd be happy to part with them.
Thank you.
There's on bolt that I can't get to. I don't have a clue how to remove it other than take off the whole bumper. I've taken a lot of body parts off of my Trooper but never found how to get this one. Do you have any ideas? Its inside the bumper behind a piece of metal.
I will look again tomorrow but when I removed mine it took like a minute. I recall just two bolts I believe. One behind the bumper you will need a small socket extension to get to.
i might have a new OEM one if grobrooks cant get the one off. have to run the numbers on the box and see what years it fits and model.

I've pulled out three that hold it from outside of the bumper. Two in the wheel well and one on the bottom. There seems to be one more that won't let go on the inside that has a bracket over it. The front came off a year ago with three bolts. I thought these would be similar.
It ain't easy but you can get it...I used to take my rear mudflaps off of my 99 to go wheeling, didn't want to tear them off on a rock.

Too bad for the OP I just sold them six months ago...

Where do I come from to get to it? I took off the liner so I could see in there. Couldn't get a sockett on it. Any help would be great. I've been wanting them off for a while.
Well it has been 7 years since my 99 got totaled...IIRC (and maybe I don't) there is maybe one fastener in the middle of a sheet metal brackety thing down fairly low in the fender, you need an extra joint in your wrist to get at that one...I left at least one fastener off when I reinstalled them because I didn't want to futz with it again.

There also might be (and this is a big maybe) an integrated stud in the mudflap, and you have find the nut inside the wheel wheel lip. I dunno 'bout that, my memory is hazy.

Be aware if you take the mudflap off that some of the fender flare goes with it.
The stud integrated sounds correct. The bolt is way up in there. I will try again. Marcus, you may want to contact lowzone. It'd be quicker for you and mine may get broken in the removal process. Sorry I couldn't help.
sorry i have the RIGHT rear....
