I was wondering what these wires are for? (1st picture) Person before me cut them and I'm trying to put everything back together to get my 1992 spacecab with the carb conversion.

Little introduction I'm new here and have owned this spacecab for about 8 months. I bought it as a sight unseen project. I was never really interduced to the isuzu family. Till I was searching Facebook marketplace and saw this thing. It caught my eye and I had to have it. But I kinda got in over my head as I'm still kinda a beginner diy mechanic. I've been back and forth from selling it and just fixing it. But I just moved into a place with a shop and now that it's out of the weather. I'm diving head first into fixing this thing for summer. It's a lowered truck 2wd manual transmission. The people before me kinda did a hack job getting to how it is now. Like torched the leaf springs, cut some of the wiring, took the original seat and steering wheel out of it and who knows what. My plan is to finish the carburetor conversion, get it running, daily drive it for as long as I can and figure out what I want to do with the thing when the time comes. I've always had an interest for mini trucks. Maybe it woulda been a better idea to find one already running and driving and start from there. But I like to do things the hard way and do it right, the first time. I do have plans for it later down the road but for now I just wanna get it running and enjoy it with the stock platform.

What ive got so far. Is the 2.3 manifold, weber carb, vacuum advance distributor, blocked off the ports for manifold, and that's about it. The engine spins so it's not seized. Oil smells like gas, but I'll get to that later. Figured I'd do the head gasket after I know it runs. Instead of before. It needs a new radiator because the old one has holes all thru out the thing. I have the holly mity mite fuel pump coming in the mail and a fuel pressure regulator as well. I know I need to wire the distributor for tac and coil but the old wiring harness ain't attached so I assumed the wiring that was cut could possibly be it. Which would kinda make it easier for me to wire it directly to the tac and coil. And just ground it. I do have the wiring for the vacumme advanced distributor still in tacked. But I'm kinda stumped on that honestly.

I have been in this group reading different forums trying to gain knowledge on how to go about this whole situation. Been I'm all the isuzu Mafia groups on Facebook. But they haven't been much help. I do plan on making a whole build thread on this truck with before and after and was gonna post a link to a YouTube channel when I get around to making one and posting the whole thing there. More for myself but to also help others like me, with little knowledge. I'd appreciate any help I could get before I just tear the whole thing apart and lose motivation.

Below are a few things I've done to it so far. Hope it helps point me in the right direction. Cheers I'm from Washington state US

HW Wheeler…. that looks like a heck of a project. Maybe your first move is to obtain a proper repair manual. Full factory manuals can be found on Ebay , and will save you tons of confusion. Engine basics are fuel, compression and spark. But first things first, does the engine crank over freely, not frozen? You will need to fit a good battery to start checking voltages. Next, with your new repair manual, you can track down wiring , cooling, fuel and vacuum diagrams to see where things are supposed to go.

I've put a socket on the crank pully and it turns freely. Not seized. I'll put a battery in and check all the volts next. And I'll order a repair manual now
