www.sparkplugs.com has the best price for denso's that I've seen. Somewhere around $6ea  .

Just called Merlin and he said PK16PR-P11. I ordered them from him
@ $12/plug. Could have got them from sparkplugs.com for $7 + shipping.
He gave me much advice though and did not rush me.

Word is regular NGK's will also work on the 2000+ (ION sensing equipped) 3.2/3.5L.

Quite honestly dude. Would you take that chance?? I like to
experiment more than anybody. There is so much talk out there
about this that I dont care if the NGK were free I would still stick with
the ND.

Nahh, probably not. As long as I can get the denso PK16's for ~$7/ea shipped to my door, I'll use them. I would definately try NGK's before I pay more than that for a regular old truck sparkplug! The last time I popped a denso out of my 2002 3.2L, it looked brand new (was at about 3yrs/36Kmi). This spring/summer, I'm going to pull them all, never-seize them & stick'em right back in for another year or two.

The reason I am changing mine is that for some time I have been
haveing preignition noise "rattle". Now for some reason it went away
and so did my MPG now I am getting 14 MPG.

I figured since my truck is using a bit of oil, 1/2 quart every 1k. Which
is within speck of 3/4 every 800 miles. The plugs just might be coated
with something. So I will give them a turn around and see. I will give
the EGR a blast as well.

I have done the old leave the + battery terminal off for a reprogram to
no avail.
