While taking a break from the Amigo, I picked up a '91 Tbird Supercoupe. Having fun with it, but now I've got 2 itches to scratch. :p Aching to be broke.

Guess you could say the Trek MTB is another, but I've got an extreme case of "Newbie" with that. At least there are some local trails for that though.

'88 Trooper, whenever i can get it to run good again.

I hope to own a Subaru Imprezza or something similar when i get the $$ and a place to park it. Parental units put up such a fuss over extraneous vehicles in the back yard

My other ride is a Nissan TT300ZX. It's been my dream car since the early 90s. I just recently picked her up back in March. Hell of quick and just sexy looking. Unfortuntly it's running my pocket book dry. I might have to sell the Rodeo next month. Had it since I was 16.

My other ride is a 1995 Eagle Talon that really needs to be put out of it's misery. It's paint is badly faded and peeling. It leaks oil and radiator fluid (both like a sieve), resulting in severe smoking. The shocks are shot. The brake rotors need turning. The headlight lenses are hazy. The power mirrors are broken. The muffler has a hole in it. And it's been broken into twice.

The good news is I own an Isuzu! :p

Well, since you ask.... The basic answer is that I'm a collector of all things International. My collection has thermometers, books, dealer promo items, etc, etc, etc. I also used to work for an aftermarket vendor for International. So I came across some good deals and was kind of expected to drive a IH. None of them are finished, but are they ever? My former boss, by the way, has over 30 rigs.

I'm pretty much done with the Scouts however as they are becoming more and more "classic" and parts are becoming more expensive. That's why the next rig I want is a mid 80s Trooper, so I can bang it around and not feel bad about banging up a piece of American history. I'll keep all my IH trucks, but don't have plans to acquire any more. Honestly I don't need a Trooper either as I am saving $ to buy some land. But if I really had my way, I'd have all sorts of trucks, my short wish list is:

-Toyota FJ 40, Early Bronco, Flat Fender Willys, 1st gen Land Rover, Dodge Power Wagon, Uni-Mog, and a Nissan Patrol.

Just a suggestion on the Trooper, if you do buy one, try to get '88 & later models.
Anything before 88 have 8-bolt corporate Isuzu dif & 10-bolt rear (weak & no locker options). 88 & later have 10-bolt front & 12-bolt rear diffs (both a lot stronger, limited locker options).
Plus you get a little more power after 88 & modding later years is eassyer (relatively).

Howdy. Thanks for the tip Rubo. I will most definately keep that in mind. Excuse me if I'm ignorant here, but was there still a 2 door option in 1988 and after? It seems that most of the late 80s Troopers I look at are all 4 door. Also, does anyone have any comments of the diesels performance for wheelin? What's your wish list like?

Other vehicle is a 79 trans am with a 78 engine and transmission and front frame. Its three different cars stuck together and sitting in a barn in Indiana waiting on spring for me to haul it down and fix it up. It needs work. It used to be a straight up 78 but I had a little accident with a buddy one time. I tell my girlfriend the only thing I need now is a garage to work on my cars in.

We've got an 88 Taurus 3.0 ... Not a bad car considering we got it for free. We've had to put about one quarter of what we have the Trooper into it. I still hate it though.

A "stranger" came to live with us. In addition to the 2 Rodeos, we now have an 89 Ford Ranger. It was free so I can't be picky. That will be the project truck.

BF will be in heaven on that site. This truck needs a lot of work so it will keep him busy for a while. I just hope I remember how to drive a 5 speed-it has been a couple years. :?

First time I have seen a Buell. (That back tire looks wide-is it?) We have a dealer around here but I quit going there cause he dropped Honda and Suzuki (like those crotch rockets) Have not been on one in 10 years-step-brother was killed on a GSX-Dad sold his Ducati and I have not ridden since (sorry to be morbid). Dad is the only one I will ride with, he sends me home shaking every time. I think he was a racer in a past life (he rides really hard).

Yeah, I AM going to tell you to be careful on it. Just watch out for the other guy-they aren't looking for you. Enjoy that ride and don't burn that back tire off (yet)> :D
