I replaced my heater core, and if you’ve ever had to take off your dash and put it ALL back on, you know it’s a pain to do so. But I seem to have forgotten this piece and don’t know what it’s for. Appreciate your help. my car is a Honda passport 2002 by the way.

I did my heater core about a year ago, 1996 trooper, and I don't remember that part, sorry. Good luck!

Looks like a relay or controller of some sort.
Did you try searching the part number?

Visible in the 2nd pic is "S.O. F Control" which I'm thinking is most likely your "Shift On the Fly" controller or control relay. Probably gonna need that hooked up!!
