theres this big rubber thing that just split on my front axle that looks like a big sleeve that holds in all the fluid, is it a bushing sleeve? ive been looking for pictures of bushing sleeves that look similiar to mine but I cant find any

May as well put on new upper and lower ball joints when you repair the boot.

Maybe it's time to pick up a Chiltons or Haynes Manual for your rig...so you can look there and find your answer.

speaking of manuals - i can't seem to find on for a 1996 trooper. A bit of a threadjack, i know, but the haynes manual stops at like 1993.
