Erm.. Not quite, but not far. It's on route 34, (I think), and there is a riverside diner sort of over your left shoulder. It's just outside of Jordan. You know it?

I did some consulting there a few years back. Stayed in Syracuse and drove to Skaneateles to work.

One weekend, I drove from Skaneateles down along the next Finger Lake west of Skaneateles Lake, and visited Watkins Glenn. Then I drove back. A thoroughly enjoyable day.

Beautiful place, but I've heard absolute horror stories about the winters, so I'll stay put in Durham, thanks!
