Hi! Mitch here.

My first car was a 1990 Pickup. My cousin bought it brand new. His brother installed a thermostat in it backward and cooked engine. It was my first engine job. It probably took me a month and I did it over my 8th grade school year in 1998. I wanted it to be ready for high school. Fast forward I became a Ford dealership technician. I was brought in at the launch of the 6.0 diesel. I left a diesel master and engine master. Now I own my own shop in Iowa. I have been on the hunt for isuzus for a bit. I found a clean low mile survivor much like my first one. I also just found another 2wd unit that im working on.

Thought id share

Gold is one im messing with currently.
middle is my first one (looks line in 02)
Last is the one i found this last fall. Its completely intact.

Is that really an olive green refrigerator, or is it the man door of your shop?

I've never been into the mini trucks, but I really like the way a clean Isuzu pick-up looks. Makes me want to V8 swap and slam a Trooper or Amigo.

Welcome to the site. Anyone with engine building experience is increasingly valuable these days.

It does look a little green but it is a gray refrigerator at my house.

The gold one may be a canididate one day for a swap. I was toying the idea of the 3.5 eco boost with the 6r80 trans out of a F-150. All the plumbing might be an issue but it would be neat.

I always wanted a 4x4 as a kid. Im looking for one of those next. Gonna have to get off my wallet.
Cool trucks and congrats on having your own shop.

I resemble your post's title so I had to look. 2 years ago I didn't really know anything about Isuzus. Now, I own 3 troopers that are tagged and on the road. First a 97 (now a wheeling rig), next a 96 (now daughter's truck) and most recently a 2002 which i might DD. I tell my wife I am just trying to corner the market to drive the price up :)
