Good Morning All,

I was curious if the starter would have to be relocated on the 2.8 V6 from an S10? Money is tight, and I at this time, do not want to fiddle with buying a larger block, and keeping my only transportation out of service for too long.

Any help would be great. I know for the 3.1 Lumina APV and 3.4 Camaro Engines the starter would need to be relocated.

Thanks,

Mark

Lumina APV would be better the starter is on the correct size. A S-10 requires starter relocation just like the Camaro

Not sure on when or for how long the Lumina Van was produced. All I know for sure is it used iron heads and TBI with a front wheel drive block.

Hi,

Money is pretty tight, and I was trying to keep things simple, by not overly complicating things. I found a rebuilt engine for an S-10 for much cheaper than I could for a 3.1 Rodeo or 2.8 Isuzu/GM engine.
