Does anyone know how to turn down the sensor on a 1998 Isuzu trooper? It has no key fob, just an old fashion key in the door lock. I go away and then 10 minutes later the alarm sounds off; I guess the sensor may be set too sensitive. Does anyone have any ideas? Maybe there is a fault that is setting it off that I don`t know about. As it is I am having to leave it left unlocked

I dont think Isuzu used a "shock" sensor. Alot of cars dont have that from the factory.
Now unless you have a aftermarket alarm or your stock system is set to passive mode, the system will be armed after you close the doors.
If ts not passive, then try locking the last door manually, as the alarm is armed if you use the power lock switch.

Im not sure if Troopers have it. But there is a rubber piece in the engine compartment that can set the alarm off with the hood closed if its not adjusted properly.
It could also be a loose or sticky pin switch. There should be one for each door including the hood.
