Hey recently got a 2002 Isuzu troop 3.5 automatic 4wd and when it shifts from 2 to 3 it jerks when it shift and if I’m just driving normal and give ut a lot of gas it will jerk even though it’s not shifting I drained what was in the pan and filled it back up but no change any ideas?

To get the ATF level correct the engine Must be running and the ATF warm when you top it up, did you do that?
A harsh 2-3 shift can be caused by a dirty or inoperative transmission Range Mode Switch (RMS). The RMS is powered by the Turn Signal and and Backup lamp fuse. Do your turn signals work? Does the gear selected lamp on the instrument panel match all 7 positions (PRND32L) of the shift selector?
