I hate asking this, but it's been so long that I even looked down at night that I'm not even sure of the correct answer.

3.5 Trooper w/auto tranny....... even with the selector display on the dash, are there lights for the selector at the shifter? You know, on the floor?

Dumb, I know. I just can't remember if it ever had any.

Our 2001 Trooper has lights on the console shifter selector.

And as I recall that light is very easy to change. I think that it mounts to the side of the shifter. You'll need to remove the plastic bezel that surrounds the shifter though.
