My kid brother got married in Nags Head this weekend so I took the opportunity to take the Trooper out on the beach and watch the sunrise Saturday morning. Took a few pics and thought you guys might like a few.

If that wasn't enough the whole album is located here:

These are my new favorite pictures. Great eye for light. You could be a freelance photographer.
very nice!!!
Very nice. We're hoping to get back down there in the fall. Maybe we can get our selves up early next weekend and get some sunrise or sunset shots from one of the knob top meadows. That would be sweet as well.
Great pics
Thanks guys.

It is easy to get a few good shots when you shoot 150 photos in an hour.

There is something therapeutic to watching a new day begin. Every time i go down to the beach at least one morning I have to get up to see the sun break that horizon. It is even more amazing that I made it for two reasons. The first being that I didn't go to bed till 3:30am and was up at 5:15 to get out on the beach. The second being that I was up that late because I was drinking with my brothers and buddies for the bachelor party. Being the oldest hurts in that situation. I was going drink for drink with my kid brother... the 24yr old Marine! Yes, I was hurting.

nc mountain land for sale

Yeah right. I hope I can see more artistic photographs of him. I like the emotions that comes out with the wonderful seashores with the trooper.
Should be on a magazine cover!
Thanks again for all these complements. They aren't hard to get. A few key things.

1. Clean the lens of your camera often.
2. Steadying the camera to prevent possible blurs.
3. Take a ton of pics and play around with your camera settings to see what they do.

All of these pics were taken with a point and shoot Nikon Coolpics camera. I did play with the appature and shutter speed settings while shooting for different effect but for the most part it is just sitting still for a few minutes and watching what the light is doing. Look for reflections. They tell alot about how to position yourself for better camera angles also.

Mainly just have fun!!
