Hi all,
Have been trying to find out how to reset the timing belt warning light on my Isuzu MU 2.8L turbo diesel. Can anyone help?

If it is anything like the other Isuzus, you have either a switch on the back of the speedometer/cluster, or a screw. The switch is easy, just move it to the other position. If you have the screw, you will find two holes in the back of the cluster labelled "KSW" - move the screw from the hole that it is currently in to the other hole labelled "KSW." The hardest part is getting the console out.

My timing belt warning light illuminated yesterday, but I have already replaced my timing belt a year ago, and it's not yet due for another replacement. What else could this mean?

If this has any connection to it, my battery got drained a couple of days ago, so I had it recharged and slapped it back in, 2 days prior to the t-belt light illuminating.

Isn't the ONLY thing that sets that light mileage?
