Just got the zuzu [90 trooper] back from the shop today. New head gasket, head and valves were fine. Compression OK on all too.

Now the prob. When I took the Troop in the heater was working fine [and it had the heater core checked and flushed in December]........I bring it home today and there's blowing tepid, lukewarm air, but not HEAT.

Anyone want to tell me WHY? What's the likely reason? Would sure appreciate some thoughts, thanks.

Sounds like they might have not put the thermostat in when they put it all back together, so it won't warm up right. Check that first off.

Or you have an air pocket in your coolant. Park it with it running where the rad. cap is the highest thing on the truck. Let it run for a while and then let it cool off and then try and add some antifreeze.
