For a 1999 Trooper 3.5L engine

Is ScanTool software, or any other "affordable offering" fully enabled
to provide all functions of Tech 2? I would like to monitor engine sensors etc.

Also, The fuel injector o-ring kits I installed today came with three o-rings. Two "fat" that seal in the fuel rail , one brown, one black, along with the "smaller" o-ring that seals in the manifold. Any idea why two fat ones?

TIA

A used Tech II is about 2,500.00 and even a Chinese knockoff is 1,500.00 - I doubt you are going to find something for 50-100.00 that will "provide all functions of Tech 2."

If all you want to do is monitor you don't need a Tech 2 - even something like this will cover that

Are a number of software tools that display the info to include Torque for Android. Is a little cheaper than a Tech 2 but you arent going to be able to write to the ECM like a Tech 2.

On the o rings I would suspect they include different sizes as could vary which one you need base on application.

Fully functional, read and write, (i.e. code) ECM, TCM Instruments etc.

too bad it is not compitable with the Isuzu.

I matched o-rings by color ;-) They looked right, and no leaks ;-)
