Oh, did not know that, I figured it would come with mounts and would sit somewhat flush with roof , Ill have to look for some and order it if I do buy the rack.

The one in the pic has the cross bars, just not the mounts for the trooper. I got my surco from roofracks4less for about $300 shipped which included the crossbars and mounts for the factory rack.

They dont sit flush with the roof. In fact, they can sit up quite high depending on how it mounts to your vehicle. On 2nd gen rodeos it all sits above the factory rack.

You can see how high mine used to sit with the mounts for the factory roof rack.

It started to break the plastic factory rack mounts so I wedged the cross bars under the factory rack and sandwiched it. Much stronger and sits lower now.

ok now i understand. i dont have a roof rack so im going to either have to order one of those or order some type or bracket mount,

ill have to look around at some pictures.

but thats a good idea how you managed to put the bars under the roof rack.

by the way thank you for the pictures and explanation i appreciate that! :)

So with the tr 100 bracket , that's all I need to mount directly to roof?

Sounds easy enough! :)
