I own a 95 passport and would like to find out what the gear ratios are. I know on my trans am there are RPO codes in the glove box that tell the specific gear ratios, etc.. Trying to figure out the effects of 32" tires on my truck.

you will either have 4.10s or 4.30s

And the 32s shoudl bother it much... I am running 33s on my 99 Rodeo..with 4.10s

If you came stock with 225/75/15s the ratio is 4.10. If you came with 245/70/16s the ratio is 4.30. It should say stock tire size on your door jam.

I'm pretty sure all Passports came with automatics, so you have an auto right. Larger tires don't effect autos quite as much due to the torque converter. It'll be fine with 32s, with either ratio.

Hi,
Passports came with 5 speeds on both the 4 cylinders and V6. As far as ratios goes, 99.9% its going to be a 4.30 gear ratio. The 4.10s were the 2wd truck gears, even my 93 2wd Rodeo V6 came with 4.30s. The 98-04 Rodeos had the 4.10s with autos and 4.30s with the 5 speeds. Different generation Rodeo. Do you have airbags? is it a true 95 or a 95.5(airbags)
