THE GOOD

--Approximately 55,000 miles
--Original Paint
--4 Cylinder
--5 Speed
--4 Wheel Drive
--Remanufactured Alternator with Lifetime Warranty
--Remanufactured Power Steering Pump with Lifetime Warranty
--New fuel pump with Lifetime Warranty
--Rebuilt carburetor
--New Spark Plugs
--New Spark Plug Wires
--New Distributor Cap
--New Distributor Rotor
--New belts
--New fuel filter
--Fuel tank was removed, cleaned and reinstalled
--New air filter
--New engine oil and oil filter
--New transmission oil
--New transfer case oil
--New differential oil in both differentials
--Includes Owners Manual
--Includes Service Manual
--Runs Good

THE BAD

--Needs tires. Tires are at least 12 years old and are weatherchecked.
--Needs drivers side caliper. It tends to bind. Costs about $45 with a Lifetime Warranty at Advance Auto Parts.
--Needs muffler. As a result, exhaust is currently loud.

Based on the wheels, I'd wager that is the LS model too. Might have the split rear seat. Those wheels are actually really cool. I wished they'd have kept those instead of the 6 spoke aluminum mags they went to on the 88-91's. As to what axles it's running, it's the '87 so could be the 8/10 bolt combo or it could be the 10/12. Getting the VIN would probably tell us. Either way, the thing appears to be in immaculate shape if that mileage is accurate (which I'd be careful there) that is a rare gem indeed. They've really priced it way too low but don't tell them that. :)

According to Jerry, all 87 Troopers came with the 8/10 combo axles. However, it was the changeover year and had the 88 and later 10 bolt style front end. It was the only year in which you could swap in a the later 10 bolt front axle. If it has a 10 bolt front or a 12 bolt rear end, it was swapped in. HTH.
