It is possible it is the clutch is starting to go. It get warmed up and then starts the dreaded chatter. Another thought is check so see if the trans mount is not torn loose. This would allow the trans to slide around and get things out of alignment. To check slide under the rig and see if you can move the trans back and forth. While you are there see if there is any play in the U joints, there should be none and the trans should not move at all.
