I'd have to agree with MO&G -- buyers don't wanna waste time with someone who isn't motivated to sell. More importantly, is it a 5-speed or automatic?

Your the second owner, and you just now found our forum when you want to sell at your price? Probably not going to happen. There is always an interest in buying on the forum here but most want to buy one that they can work on and put things on to make it their own and that happens when a Trooper is priced middle on down in price than a high sale price. The reason you were asked if it is an auto or manual tranny is an auto is the weak point on the Troopers and if I've seen one I've seen 50 Troopers with bad auto's at your miles. Just saying.

Not sure what you are implying with your first "question". But i've used this forum to diagnose issues in the past and when i was considering buying a trooper in the first place. I just didn't have the need to create a profile in the past. And i am aware of the auto/manual topic. As you can see in the picture, there is a lot more that could be done to this trooper. I haven't done any cutting or serious modifications that I've seen on other trooper builds, so i think there is still plenty of room for someone to wrench on this and make it their own.

We have a lot of first timers that never participate in our forum till it's time to sell or profit from our forum. I just mailed a set of old decals to a rather new member who got them for free and never even offered to pay for the shipping and he has never posted again. I'm out my time and trouble. Plus the cost of shipping. Not that that is going to break me or anything. Just, I guess, tired of this new generation sometimes. I'll apologize if I seemed a little brazen.

Your frustrations are understandable, maybe it would have been worth my time to become a part of the community first before a sale post. With that said, would a manual swap be worth it? I drove manual in high school and would love to drive a manual vehicle again.

I don't think it'd be worth it if you're going to just sell it. I enjoy driving my manual Trooper more than I did my auto Amigo. Not much of an endorsement I guess, especially since I just bought the Trooper that way and didn't have to put in the work to do the conversion.

I might not sell it if I were to manual swap it because at that point i'd be putting more money into it that i wouldn't get back. When I was looking into buying my trooper, one that looked good enough in a manual weren't really an option.
