Should I use any kind of RTV (recomended gasket sealer?) ON MY AUTO TRANS pan gaskets when I install them? I am draining both pans and will install new gaskets. This is on a 95 Isuzu Trooper.

RTV + a new gasket will most likely leak.

Use only the gasket and ensure the tran body surface is clean and smooth AND not gouged.
