The EGR monitor usually is set ready after a short drive, the Catalyst monitor and EVAP monitor require a couple of drive cycles and take the longest to be ready. Sometimes the Catalyst monitor takes a lot of drive cycles to set ready. If the Catalyst monitor and EVAP monitor are ready and the EGR monitor is not ready there is likely an anomaly present that preventing the enabling criteria from being satisfied.

Thank you sir! Great to be further educated. To clean EGR valve / recirculating pipe to see if this may help set the monitor. Am working off info provided by emissions garage tech on this issue of EGR monitor not setting. No check engine light illuminated or code thrown for EGR malfunction. Garage replaced thermostat as it read 170 deg max during further emission testing.

Will post updates to share with all.
