Have a 96 rodeo 4x4 with all of the front cv joint boots torn.
Does anyone know where I can get rebuilt half shafts? Autozone,Pep Boys,Advance Auto Parts, NAPA, Carquest, Ect,Ect??

It is rather simple and inexpensive to replace the boots yourself and repack your wheel bearings if you have a few hours.

Do you feel that the joints are damaged and that is why you wish to replace them? How long have those boots been torn?

If you do this when you repack the wheel bearings, you'll be able to completely remove the outer joint and the inner races and servicing is that much easier.
Hmmm tough call on whether or not to service those joints then...

Well if this isn't the daily driver then why not pull them apart and check them out for wear and tear? If it is your DD then it all depends on how much time you have this weekend. Once you pull it all apart, it would suck to discover damage and have nothing to replace it with.

2K sounds like a good deal. I don't know for sure who carries shafts, but I always hear the St Charles guy being mentioned for parts... Maybe he's got them?
*raises an eyebrow* This sounds like a good deal!

I'll have to keep that in mind for next time I have to repack the joints.

Has all the boots you'll ever need for $20/boot :)
