Need a little advice from the more experienced. I'm going to order myself some new rims this week. I found a set of 15x10 black Rockcrawler steel(I think they're steel) wheels I really like on Independent4x.com. Not bad looking and dirt cheap. My question is are the steel wheels going to be far heavier than their aluminum counterparts? Is the difference small enough that I can justify paying $40-$60 less per wheel, or should I empty my wallet and buy the more expensive aluminum? I appreciate any insight.
Thanks,
Jim

Including shipping to Japan, are the steel wheels really any cheaper?

For off-road only, I prefer steel wheels. For street only, I prefer alloy. Having said that, I drive probably 75% on the street now and have alloy wheels. I didn't purchase them because they were alloy, but I am enjoying the lighter weight (which results in a better ride, and easier lifting when work is being done requiring tire removal).
