It's for the EVAP system, so it might trip an evap code with a small or medium leak. Not sure what the Isuzu name is, but it's the fuel tank vent that goes to the charcoal canister. I've not taken one out on the Rodeo, but on the Trooper it twists about 30 degrees counter clockwise and then will pull straight up and out.
