Recovery points on a 2001 Trooper

Is there a reason you want D rings? Cause in the front, you have two locations for hooks which should be plenty for doing any recovery. As for the rear, there is one location but if you mount a hitch, you lose it. So in that case, use a d-ring hitch mount in the rear.

Sounds like we are trying to do the same thing... kinda.
I'm installing a 1/2 inch thick metal plate with a hole that will stick out a little thru my bumpers. When I need them, I'll insert shackles.
