Im going to try and keep it as clean as i can but no promises.

So i take scrap metal to the yard on my way to school. I had about 200-300lbs in my truck. It was stuffed in my truck to the windows. any abrupt movements woulda broken my windows. Also my speedometer is not working.

Anyways there was a guy following my in a mercury gran marquis. im going over the bumpy tracks slowly, when he lays on his horn. the light is red, so i coast up to it. he goes into the turn lane, squeaks his tires like a little b**** and cuts in front of me. he layed on the brakes and put it in park. first i flicked him off for a while. then i smiled and waved and shrugged my shoulders.

At the next light, he rolls down his window and says something to me. not sure what he was saying, but every other word began with f. i tried to tell him that i had stuff in the back and i had to drive slow.

Then, the mother ******* son of a ***** **** face sorry excuse for a **** piece of **** spits on my trooper. I just smiled and waved at him.
This ***** was a typical ******* sob hick, addicted to booze, meth, and porn.

Im not intimidating, 16, 5'6 130lbs. I wish i could trash his car so bad right about now. I figured he might be packing, so it wouldnt be worth rear ending him. Although i seriously considered it.

Hell is too nice of a place for ***** like him,

Breathe.

Ok, breathe again. Deeeeep breaths.

There's no use in letting buttbrains get YOU upset.

I've always looked at it as a control issue.

If you let them affect you, then you are giving them control of yourself.

They are out of control, anyway. You let them affect/control you, and things are only going to get worse for both of you.

You be the one in control of yourself.

Breathe. Concentrate on your breath. In through the nose, and out through the mouth in a controlled manner. Realize that this is only one small incident in your entire life. Now walk away from it.

"Living well is the best revenge"

"His life is ruined so now he wants to ruin mine" Don't let them!

All men were created equal. But shortly after that things tend to separate a bit. Some climb to the top of the food chain and some become part of the trash.

YOu should of followed him to where he lived and then later gather your homies and really eff up his car. If someones going to be a jackass then they should have no problem dealing with the consequences....you guys are saying you wouldn't retaliate but seriously if someone hacked a lugie on your car while you were driving you wouldn't do anything about it??? Especially if it was your zu.

You handled it perfectly, now just breathe and enjoy the fact that you piled coals on his head. :)
Life is filled with confrontational people, the best way to handle them is to keep your cool and remain respectful to keep it from escalating.
They lied about the Golden Rule, its treat people better than you want to be treated.

It's spit on a piece of metal.

And over that, you are going to follow him home, then get your buddies together and vandalize his car ?

Did you really think about that, before you said it ?

I thought about it for a while. If he was stupid enough to spit on my car, i dont think he would have any problem pulling a gun out on me.

Thinking is a good thing.

Thinking is always better than reacting.

^^What I am trying to do right now.

A different kind of lesson, true. But a lesson nonetheless.

What you are describing is paying back stupid, with even stupider.

Do you really think that "stupid" is going to learn any kind of useful lesson from that ?

Escalating stupidity like that, leads only one direction. Someone ends up in court, or worse.

For instance, let's say that you follow him home. Then you come back later with your buddies and start vandalizing his car.

He comes out with a 12ga and shoots two or three of you dead, before you can get away.

Some lesson he learned, huh ?

The best thing to do is to do as the OP did. Think about it. Realize that anything you do, is only going to escalate the situation. And that the end result is not something you can predict. The guy may have just gotten divorced. Or lost his house and his job. And he may feel like he has nothing else to lose. And he may have a gun...

I hate that stuff man. I am no intimidating guy either, 5'10" and 140 at age 31. I was 19 when I broke 100lbs. A guy like me tends to draw a lot of nonsense like you just described. Over time, I have learned to use wit and charm to irritate these idiots. Calmly call them out, ignore them, even thank them while they are being pricks. I also took up ju-jistu 3 years ago because of it. I got beat down real bad for using my eyes and decided enough was enough. So I learned to defend my self and at the same time learned to be calm and find alternate resolutions. It is tough being small and insulted or on the wrong end of someones bad day. Hell, I remember meeting a soon to be GF at the Granville Inn, a universtiy bar in Louisville. She had been up there studying for a while and this guy was buying her drinks from time to time, unknownst to me. When I get up there and sit with her for a while, he gave me dirty looks and the girl eventually told me why. Of course I go to the bar to order us some drinks and this guy gets in my face. The guy was bigger than me and I knew I was in for it. SO I decided to plant one square on his lips. You should have seen his face, it was awesome. And good for me that my friend tending bar was twice his size! :D Pick your battles my friend, but try to come in peace.

cheers

I've had stuff like this happen to me before too. Ignorant people just don't contemplate that the Trooper is already a slow vehicle, and when loaded down, even slower.

I had a reverse situation happen to me this week, and I was almost assaulted as a result of it. I sailed over a speed bump which two guys in a truck had just "crawled" over. I was unintentionally tailing them for no more than 2 seconds and they stop in the middle of the road, get out and punch my truck. That infuriated me, so I get out and get in their face with a mag light. This only makes matters worse as they retreated back to their truck and grabbed a golf club. These guys ended up following me around a college campus, getting out of their truck at every stop light I came to to try to take another swing at me and my truck. I finally had to get the cops involved.

I could not believe the stupidity of these guys. First off they were trying to assault someone half their age, second they were willing to do it in the middle of a college campus, in full view of dozens of students walking, biking, and skating to and from their classes, third they got all worked up over something trivial. They were well into their late 30's. I figured a grown man would have more sense than that!
