Power chips...anyone use them???

I have seen many ads for "20 hp" chips and resistors, has anyone used them on their vehicles? I was wondering if anyone had used them with any success, or if they are just bull poop? I gave up on trying everything to improve fuel economy, and as looking at this as a possibility. Any ideas or recommendations?

Just my .02. If you want supreme performance, buy a Lamborghini. Wait, oh, that would set you back $250 g's. Never mind......my bad..... :p
