Havent really been documenting my trooper build, but here it is..

so far ive put about $2500 into her, and that number is growing.

Brand new brake pads, rotors, calipers, and flex hoses
New CV boots
Indy 4x 3" Sport kit
Bedlined from body line down
New plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor
Fram air filter and fuel filter
Custom built plate bumper

I started with this (not including bumper)

Added some of this

A little bedliner and it was this

I also forgot to mention all the rust that there was. Rear rockers were rusted right out, and that was all cut out and welded up before the bedliner.

I also took out the carpets and all that and bedlined the inside of the truck.

Turned out good

Its a 1966 Acadian Invader 4 door. 194ci straight 6, 27000 miles on it. Dont really have any great pics of it but ill take some.

We have the 66 4 door, a 67 two door that we have a 350 for, a 66 parts car, and a 63 wagon thats getting a 454. All of them are Acadians except for the wagon, but we've got all the badges, grill, and interior to make it an Acadian

and yeah theyre chevy wheels with bored out centres to fit the hub.

That's what I was thinking, looks good! And Acadians are sweet! Basically Canada's Pontiacs :)

Swap a 3.4L into it and you'll have Justwork's old trooper.

Looking great.

One heck of a transformation. Very nice work. I was going to comment on the Nova sitting quietly in the garage, however, I stand corrected.

Reminds me of my old Trooper
Had the same rust in the cargo area and repaired it the exact same way:

Same tire and similar rim choice:

Now just drop a 3.4L in it and they'll be twins...

In the end I put it back to stock:

That 3.4L engine really rocked with stock tires and no lift.

You know what? I sold that Trooper at the end of last June to a guy that lives in Sechelt... I remember because I bought my Xterra before you had to pay full tax on used vehicles, which came into effect in BC July 1 last year. You probably did see my trooper on that ferry. I sold it to a guy who never even saw it, just photo's and knew it had a 3.4L in it. You live on the Sunshine coast? I'm in Ontario now. Crazy.

And hey, great minds think alike. I like your style.

Yeah I live in Powell River. Im pretty sure I was on my way to a Brooks and Dunn concert, and I checked out the trooper cause it had a rack and was real clean. That was just after I bought mine.

Powell River is a great place. I used to fly for Pacific Coastal, so I've been there a few times. Keep up the great work man! That trooper looks fantastic
