I'm running the OME 912 springs and the 2.5" spacers on my 98 Rodeoport. I have cranked the front to match and I've not had any trouble.

Will i have to flip the ball joint?
NO, you are highly cautioned not to flip the ball joint in thesecond gen Rodeos. You have a rack and pinion steering not the reciculating ball type. If you flip the ball joints you can pull the seals out of the rack and there isn't a replacement seal. You get to buy a new 500 dollar rack and pinion unit.
