I just installed some new wheels. ASA's from The Tire Rack. They are 16x8 et20, with 265/70/16 Revo's. Stock rims are 16x7 with et38 with 245/70/16 tires.
End result is that I've increased track by 40mm or so, and have a wider foot-print, and have only raised the center of gravity maybe half an inch. The result on handling has been tremendous! The truck feels MUCH more stable and less tippy.
This tire/wheel combo plus bilsteins, poly sway bushings and OME springs have TRANSFORMED the handling. It does not ride like a caddy anymore, but more like a BMW - firm and controlled. Looks a helluva lot better too. Love it.
