I just bougt a 95.5 rodeo and I want to give it a small lift.
I saw shackles are cheap and give 1.5" to 2".
I know after the driveshaft will be at a bad angle and people say to get a one piece. This is too expensive for me now, so I was wondering if putting shims in is an ok way to go.
I know the shaft is better, but have people done this shims and not had any problems on a lift this small.
It would save me a good amount of money.

A shackle lift isnt all that much. Ive had my 3-4 inch lift on for like a year now. Ive began to live with the thunking noise. Ill get a one peice when i have the dough. If i were you id get the lift, maybe the full lift, and worry about that driveshaft later.
