My fan clutch is whining so i went to get a replacement from autozone, well now my rodeo sounds like a semi truck so i'm going to either get a fan clutch from the dealer for 113 bucks or maybe should i put an electric fan? Is putting an electric fan intead even possible or plausible. If so does anyone have an idea howto do it? i was thinkin since it already has a small electric fan maybe the wiring wont be so hard after all. This is for a 2000 isuzu rodeo. Also is there a way to fix my old fan clutch, it squeaks pretty good.

Sounds like the fan clutch you received is defective as it does not dis-engage. I recently replaced my fan clutch and the first one sounded like a jet because it was engaged all the time. I tried a different brand and it works fine.
