grote makes a good led retrofit that doesnt look too out of place. not cheap, but they do light up the road WAY BETTER than crappy halogen bulbs.

none of my vehicles have halogen bulbs. either hid or led.

i had 4x6 glass lens with led halo - you could buy the lens with white or amber halo ring, and connect the halo ring to any circuit you want- i had amber ones, with them hooked up to the signal lights.
they worked good , until that damn deer took them out....but the deer gave up his life....

oh you can get them WAY CHEAPER on ebay- $250 seems expensive- i paid maybe $50 for mine brand new, the hid kit cost another $30? been a few years since purchased them. the ones you linked look 110% identical to the ebay ones i bought. For cheaper.
some places bring in a c- can full of them, from china for dirt cheap, then price gouge the market once they are on north American soil.

the led bulbs are most likely pushing the price up. IF they are a good led bulb, not just one that lights up but has no beam spread / projection...
putco and speaker are other brands of led, but i have seen many of the speaker brand led headlamps fail in new jeeps....
