Why did'nt they called everyving Isuzu's????
One of life's mysterys I suppose.
ISUZU has so many different names around the world, it's a wonder no hasn't been driven to drink
The Mu/Amigo is also known as the Holden Frontera in Australia and the ISUZU Trooper/Monterey is the Holden Jackaroo.
In South America, the Trooper/Monterey/Jackaroo is built by Caribe, which is actually Chevrolet/GM :?
Then, there's the Rodeo confusion which is getting worse as more international members show up. The Rodeo in Southeast Asia is the ISUZU pickup, but in the US market, the Rodeo is the Wizard wagon. :?
Your vehicle in the US market is the P'up SpaceCab (extended cab). It's available here with the ISUZU 4ZE1 2.6L gasoline, early models came with the 4ZD1 2.3L. The regular, non-extended, cab P'ups also came with the GM 3.1L V6 gasoline motors. These vehicles are holding their value quite well, and the rarer diesel models from the mid-eighties are demanding VERY high dollars right now with our gasoline situation out of control.
Cheers,
