The Patrol is a 2.8l six cilinder gasoline with 120hp and 200Nm.
Its build in '83 and was very rusty
So I bought another body (the chassis was not rusted) and I needed more power because I run 33x12,5-15 tyres. I bought a carburator set from a Datsun 260Z (same engine but 2.6l) and put it to the L28 engine. I also put on a camshaft from a 280ZX.
Next week I put on the new body and my offroad beast is ready for some offroading!

The BMW is a 535i '84, it has a 3.5l six cilinder engine with 220hp and 310Nm. It is a real beast on the road.
Most of the people think it's a 518!! :twisted:

Yes....we have both kind of vehicles in Chile too....
80´s Patrols are most common and classic here, and always runs very good. And mostly the newest Patrols are returned vehicles from Japan.

I have a bike too, Its a Honda CB550F '78.
It's a very good bike, runs always and is in very good shape!
I'l post some pictures after X-mas cause it's on my work.
