Motor swap on a 91 trooper 2.8 V6

I am new to this forum as I have just purchased my first Isuzu. It has an engine knock, the thought has been to swap out the motor. Does anyone know if the 2.5 Chevy iron duke is a direct bolt up to the tranny? :twisted:
