All,
Has anyone ever heard a low rumble (drone) sound when approaching a specific speed? When I get to 50 mph I can hear it pretty loud. It goes away at around 65 mph. It reminds me of the rumble when a boiler doesn't have the correct air/fuel ratio. The air filter is good. Not sure about the fuel filter but the boiler rumble usually is associated with not enough air. I thought maybe a hole in the exhaust system but didn't notice anything last night under there. Any ideas to look for? PCV and EGR valves both work great.

2000 Isuzu Trooper. I have the same issue -- a rumbling sound between 50 - 65mph, can't detect it above 70mph.
Don't notice it when windows are down.

I had new gaskets put on the exhaust but no help.
I was thinking it might be with the Exhaust Manifold or maybe a motor mount.
