I ordered a bunch from Ebay to fit the various spots in the truck. So far only three have come in but I'm impressed.

For the rear dome I got one like this:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0723095948
It's a 168 replacement bulb with the LEDs all mounted on one side which they call a "Side Shine" bulb.

For the map lights in the mirror, I got two bulbs like these:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... 0720955366
They are 212-2 bulbs and I got them with two 1W LEDs (ha!)
I had to squeeze the contacts together with needle nose pliers but the install was super easy.

I'll post once the center dome light and the door lights arrive. I've ordered a 1W one for the dome light and some omni-directional 168s for the doors.

I also got a few of the 1W 168 style bulbs for map lights in other vehicles and they are a nice improvement as well.

Hey Tad do you plan on doing the dashlights as well?

I don't. If I was going to have the dash apart I might, but these take 2 minutes and cost $1.
I would suggest doing the cluster bulbs at least (4 bulbs). It only takes me 15 minutes to get to them. Might as well do the switches while you're in there tho.
I threw in these bulbs for the gauges and I like the look way better, especially if all the courtesy and dome lights are LED. I paid about $5 for all 4 bulbs.

Do these LED conversions for dash lights work ok with the dimmers or does anything special need to be done?

Audio,

As long as operating voltages are observed, LED's will work just as well as incandescent lamps do on the dimmer in your vehicle.
