I have a recurring knocking sound from the engine when idling. It has recently gotten worse. Now it happens when decelerating from highway speed. My mechanic thought it was the timing belt tensioner. They just replaced the belt and the tensioners were fine, but the knocking is still there. I'm sure I needed that timing belt anyway :( A mechanic at the dealership suggested it might be a center bearing on the timing belt. Anyone dealt with this before.
