does anyone now the differences between the rodeo v6 dohc
and the trooper sohc
and can the cam heads be interchangeable
because the trooper has 175 and the rodeos V6 has 205
COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ENGS , NOTHING ON THE DOHC WILL FIT THE SOHC ENG ,, YOU COULD IF YOU COULD FIND THEM USE THE HEADS AND FRT TIMING PARTS FROM THE DOHC TROOPER ENG MADE FROM 02-95 AND USE THE INTAKE AND EX FROM YOUR SOHC , NOW YOU HAVE 195 HP JERRY

when i did research the dohc version with the same intake design
the engine is called 6VD1E it looks almost the same but im not sure about the front of the engine and the bolt layout
THE 6VD1E IS THE SOHC ENG THE 6VD1W IS THE DOHC,
THE FRONT OF THE ENGS ARE IDENTICAL JUST THE TIMING PARTS AND TH E HEADS ARE DIFF, ALONG WITH THE LOWER INTAKE MANIFOLD AND THE UPPER PLENUM CHAMBER , INTAKE GASKETS ARE THE SAME BOTH ENGS, INTAKE MANIFOLDS ARE NOT. BUT ARE INTER CHANGE ABLE AS LONG AS YOU USE THE COMPLETE INTAKE SYSTEM ,

BEEN DONE A NO. OF TIMES DOHC HEADS ON THE SOHC BLOCK USING THE SOHC TOP END /INTAKE, OR JUST PUT THE SOHC INTAKE ASSY ON THE REG DOHC ENG, PICKS UP THE BOTTOM END TORQUE , NOTICE ABLY.
