Can you help me by telling me how the automatic transmission hoses are connected to the radiator? isuzu rodeo 3.2
My question is, is the automatic transmission fluid line properly connected to the radiator?
I'm not exactly sure what you are asking but I will try my best to describe by starting at the transmission and working my way forward.
1. Metal line -- this is depicted in images 1 and 3. These thread directly into the transmission casing. These lines have a clip kind of on the top side of the diff (held in by a 12mm headed bolt) that keeps them in place.
2. Rubber line -- each metal line becomes a rubber line (secured by normal hose clamps) directly under the alternator. These run about 6" to the radiator where they are clamped on again.
3. Metal line -- one side of the cooler goes into the radiator perpendicularly, right where the rubber lines end. The other rubber line attaches in that approximate location as well, but the metal line (made as a part of the radiator) runs to the other side of the radiator before actually going in.
